Code House Client Numbers Increase
Code House has experienced rapid growth in client numbers within the last month with over 6 new Group Training and Labour Hire clients signing on to purchase CHIP including one new client in remote Western Australia. Code House Partners with Premium SMS Provider
Most of you have been using CHIP to send out SMS messages from CHIP successfully to your Employees/Candidates and/or Clients and the feedback regarding this has been excellent and extremely well received. We have been looking at this over the last few months as to how we can reduce the cost of these SMS messages and have negotiated with another provider to enable to cost of these messages to be reduced.
By purchasing the messages in bulk lots up front, we can now sell the SMS messages direct through Code House for a flat 13 cents per SMS message. As we get more clients on board with this, the more messages we will be purchasing and hence the lower the cost will be. We are then happy to pass on these cost savings to our clients.
Apart from the cost saving, which equates to a saving of over 40% on what most of you would have been paying with other providers, there are additional benefits such as
No contract and no Minimum Spend – once set up, Code House will simply bill on a monthly basis for each message sent during the calendar month No additional fees for different payment methods – simply pay using our standard terms using the payment method that you are used to using with Code House
Better reporting facilities – this new system will allow you to set up departments (if you wish) that allow you to set up cost centres, such as different offices in your organisation and your invoice can reflect the number of messages sent through each department We can manage your account for you – is you like, at Code House, we can offer to manage your account, set up users, inactivate users etc for you. No need to have a username and password that you need to remember to log into a website, simply contact Code House through Email or Phone and we can manage this for you. If you would like to manage your own account, we will supply you with login details to do this.
More flexibility on setting up a reply method – at the moment, this has been set up to reply to an email address, which has been useful as this also allows you to save the correspondence in Outlook. With the new system, is can be set up so that you can have a message display as coming from the mobile phone number for the username, in which case any replies will go back to the users mobile phone. Or they can be set up with text, in which case the recipient will be able to see who the message is from, as it will display as a company name (instead of a mobile number), however in this case, the recipient will not be able to reply, unless they create a new message and enter a mobile number in manually. This offers increased flexibility in this area.

Obviously, if you are happy with your current SMS provider and do not wish to change, then there is no need to change anything in CHIP as this system will continue to run as it has previously.

New Code House Staff Member
We are pleased to announce that Code House has employed a new staff member who will be in charge of the support and customer service for our range of products, commencing next Monday, 10th May 2010. This role has been created to enable us to maintain our high level of customer support and service for our products. It will also enable Dominic to be able to concentrate more on developing new areas in CHIP and any specific enhancements that you, as our client requires.
The new person is Sally Kester and she comes to us with several years experience in payroll at a large Labour Hire organisation, including implementing a new payroll system at this organisation. She also has over 4 years experience in supporting another large payroll system (CHRIS) and has implemented payroll systems and trained in these systems at various different organisations, including the implementation and training at a large government department. With a lot of previous experience, she is well qualified to handle the role.
Sally has also done various courses in Business Administration as well as Train the Trainer courses, which will be invaluable for us moving forward. I am sure that she will be an asset to our team at Code House and in turn, provide you with a high level of support.
Sally does have exceptional payroll and business administration experience and has used various systems and I am sure that she will learn the CHIP system very quickly. Please bear in mind when calling and speaking to her over the next couple of months, that she will be on a steep learning curve to learn the ins and outs of the CHIP system and also the differences in the Labour Hire and Group Training industries. Both myself and Dominic will of course be on hand to assist during this time.

Code House once again displays at the GTA conference in Adelaide
We would like to remind you that this years Group Training Australia conference is being held from the 14th - 16th April, at the Hilton Hotel in Adelaide. Code House will once again be displaying our CHIP - Code House Integrated Payroll software at this event. Code House signs 100th CHIP User
During the month of December, we were able to sign up our 100th individual company using CHIP - Code House Integrated Payroll.
Last financial year, CHIP produced more than 30 000 PAYG certificates for employees paid in the system. This represents more than 30 000 people in Australia had their pays processed through the CHIP system.
Thank you to all of our clients who support our company and continue to allow the CHIP system to grow and develop with their feedback. We look forward continuing to provide all of our clients with the high level of support that they have become accustomed to.

Code House attends Concerto Networks Conference in New Zealand
Code House was lucky enough to attend the Concerto Networks conference in New Zealand. At this conference, we were able to meet with other Franchisees from around the workd, as well as see some excellent new products that we can offer our clients. We would like to thank all who attended the conference and for the knowledge shared.

Code House designs smart software to track Truancy at Adelaide High Schools
SMART software designed by Code House to track truants at Golden Grove High School has lifted student attendance, achievement and behaviour, but the Education Department has no plans to roll it out across the state.

Code House conducts User Group Meetings with Group Training clients
With more Group Training companies in Australia using CHIP - Code House Integrated Payroll than any other system, Code House was able to conduct user group meetings in Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth with most current Group Training clients attending. The feedback from these events was excellent, many new features were suggested, discussed and subsequently implemented in the system and we plan to make these user group meetings and annual event.
This is another example of the high level of commitment and service that Code House offers our clients.

Code House displays at the Group Training Australia conference in Cairns
Thank you to all of the Group Training companies who we saw at the conference in Cairns. This was a great success in spreading the CHIP - Code House Integrated Payroll system to other companies, as well as a time to catch up with our current users.
